On Tuesday, March 30th, PORA Board President Ralph Johnson and Vice President Bob Miller were invited along with their SCHOA counterparts, Jim Hunter and Jerry Delano to attend a meeting with Congresswoman Debbie Lesko. The hour-long meeting was held at Congresswoman Lesko’s Surprise office off of Bell. The meeting introduced Ross Branson, the newly appointed Chief of Staff and Austin Roe, the District 8 Outreach Liaison as well as a discussion involving issues concerning Sun City West.

Topics included:

1. Congresswoman Lesko’s January appointed to the 117th Congressional House Energy & Commerce Committee
2. On-going events in the SCW community
3. EPCOR water consolidation rate case and the Arizona Supreme Court’s acceptance to review the petition.
4. Transit issues
